The latest purse reduction for The Gold Cup did not keep the top two finishers from the BC Classic from making the trip to SA to compete in this ten furlong stake. Six months ago, Spankersville got the better of Wahpekute Sioux, and so far in 2025, we have not seen Wahpekute Sioux at the stake level.

Techfluence High May See Pain in Bid to Win The Gamely Stakes Again
Monday’s running of the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes has drawn a field of six that will head to the gate in hopes of picking up the winner’s share of the $300.000 purse. If that winner is Techfluence High, she will become the third different two time winner of the race.

Reorganize Earns Convincing Gallorette Win
The Gallorette Stakes would be just the third race for Reorganize since she won the Mrs Revere at CD six months ago. While she didn’t win either of the starts after it, there was nothing wrong with her effort in either, and she seemed like one of the top choices here at PIM on Saturday.

Presenting The Field For The 2025 PRK
As early as October 2023, and lasting throughout the year in 2024, trainers bred horses with the dream of creating a TC champion in 2025. From there, we watched them grow, and the biggest contenders would soon begin to make themselves known. Months of prep races to begin this year would separate the best of the best, and a field of 20 would head to the starting gate for the KYD.

Who’ll Power Their Way to a Gallorette Stakes Win?
Saturday’s great card at PIM will include the 21st running of the Gallorette Stakes, a Grade 3 on the turf for three year old females and upward. Conditions have been consistent over the two decades that the race has been run, with purses either being $100.000 or $150.000.
