Cross The Stars Crosses Wire First in Grand Prix American JC
Cross The Stars has had a good season up to this point, hitting the board in all but one of the races he was in. In the Grand Prix American JC, this gelding by Crossing The Rubicon would run more than nine furlongs for the first time, and it is safe to say that it went very well.

Threshold Looks to Tower Above The DeFrancis Memorial Dash Competition
For the first time since 2018, the DeFrancis Memorial Dash will be run, and a field of ten will go to the gate for this six furlong race. The race has had an interesting history in terms of when it has been run, initially debuting in 2005, but then going from 2007-2016 off of the schedule.

No Clear Favorite for Grand Prix American JC
A field of seven is set to go take to the track in the second running of the Grand Prix American JC, a race that will send them twelve furlongs. This race appeared on the schedule for the first time in 2019, but would not be run last year.

Top Choices Likely Starting Near Inside for The JC Derby
After not being run last year, the JC Derby returns to the schedule for 2021 to be contested for the second time. It is not a graded race, but it’s $1,000.000 purse certainly carries a ton of incentive for top horses to take part, as will the points for the BC Turf.

Scafati Thriving on Turf, Wins KD Turf Sprint
Without as much turf experience as others in the field, Scafati was overlooked by most bettors, or people in the Pick ‘em, as only 5.4% of participants felt that he was the one to beat. He was not one of our picks either, but did seem like an interesting longshot to potentially play.

The Inaugural Untapable Stakes Runs at KD Sunday
For the first time, The Untapable Stakes will be run here at HRP, and it was somewhat of a late addition to the stakes schedule. There are very few opportunities of this stature for the two year fillies on the grass, and even though this is not a graded stake, it’s large purse and influence on the BC in about three months makes it very appealing.

Large Purse at Stake in KD Turf Sprint
There are very few opportunities out there for turf sprinters to run for the type of purse that is offered in the KD Turf Sprint. It should therefore come as no surprise that the starting gate is filled to capacity with a field of fourteen ready to take part. The BC points that are on the line also offer a nice incentive.

Spiral Wins The Inaugural Mint Million
For the first time, the Mint Million was run within our virtual world, and hopefully it is here for a long time. Nine horses would go to post, attracted to it’s $1,000.000 purse, and our first winner of the race will be Spiral and Mb Stables, prevailing in a photo finish at the wire with Hollywood Hero.

Hilarity Stays Perfect in The Hopeful
Mb Stables has another good one! Every year, Mb Stables seems to have a collection of promising two year olds with one of them really capturing a large part of the attention. Right now, that honor goes to Hilarity, a colt by Fire N Fury that is now a perfect 4-for-4 in his career.
