    After running at a mile last year, for the first time since 2013, The Hill Prince returns to its nine furlong distance for the 2021 edition. The race also runs a little later this year, so while this has been a race that could send horses into the BC Turf with greater frequency, that may have affected the quality of the field a little bit.

  • Perfect Secrets Wins NY Breeders Futurity at 23/1

    After finishing fourth in the Aspirant Stakes, missing by three lengths, Perfect Secrets was gelded later in the day. This would be his first race as a gelding, something that can often go a long way, and it certainly did not hurt his case here in the NY Breeders Futurity as he picked up his second career win.

Buckingham Palace would come into the race with five wins in nine starts, but was still looking for the graded victory that she could put on her resume.

That history made her one that you could not ignore here in the Spinster, and she would be made one of our picks, hoping that she would step up and run one of her better races.
