  • Ten To Do Combat in This Year’s Fayette

Last year, one of the best horses in the game, Combat Wombat, made an appearance in the Fayette and ended up getting the win. • Cascade King Reigns Over The Hill Prince

We would have ourselves a tight finish at the wire in The Hill Prince, and after examining the photo, it would be Cascade King earning the win for Nakamura Stables marking the second win in a row for the trainer. • The Sands Point Win Should Give Lady Hilltopper More Respect

In The Sands Point, seven three year old fillies went to post, and grabbing the win would be Lady Hilltopper, a horse that never seems to get any respect at the betting window. Ever since arriving at Black N Gold Stable, she has had double digit odds, spanning six races. She’s now won four of them.

  • Afterburner Saves His Best for the Stretch in Sycamore

The top two horses to beat in the Sycamore seemed to be Afterburner and Winter Solstice, and people would head to the betting window to show their support for the two of them. After twelve furlongs on the grass, these two favorites would live up to their billing as being the ones to beat, finishing as the top two horses.
