  • La Terrifiant Should be Heavy Favorite in The Just A Game

It’s time to start looking at the undercard for the biggest race, perhaps in the history of our virtual racing world. There is always plenty of excitement prior to the BEL on this day, and that includes fillies and mares who like to do their racing on the grass.

  • Who Will be Able to Make it There in The NY?

Everyone will be watching what goes on at BEL over the weekend, and the excitement will begin on Friday as 17th running of The NY takes place. The race offers a large purse for older females to get their hands on, and the $750.000 in which it runs for represents the second highest amount in the history of the stake.

  • Late Pass Gives Intolerable the Win in Summertime Oaks

A good race took place Sunday evening in the Grade 2 Summertime Oaks, featuring several fillies that ran in the KYO. At the end of the race, the top three spots were filled by those who did, but it would be Intolerable picking up the win.

  • Billy Joel Picks Up Where He Left Off in Whittingham Stakes

It was good to see Billy Joel, the reigning BC Turf champion, back on the track for the first time since the Pegasus World Cup Turf in late January. He entered the race on a three race winning streak, with all of those wins coming in Grade 1’s, so the only reason for there to have been any doubts about him would be a concern on his layoff.

  • Powerful Stretch Push Puts Promised Prince First at PEN Mile

Friday was a wet day throughout the northeast, and PEN would be no exception. • Good Field for Summertime Oaks

Summertime may be right around the corner, but the Summertime Oaks comes this Sunday as a field of eight fillies, several of which ran in the KYO at the start of the month, will hit the starting gate for this Grade 2.

  • Billy Joel’s Back On Stage in Whittingham Stakes

One of the best horses of 2020 will return to the track for the first time in four months as BC Turf winning Billy Joel highlights the 16th running of the Grade 2 Whittingham Stakes

  • High Planker Can Become PEN Mile High Stepper

For three year olds, the horses that are getting all of the attention right now will run on the main track. Under the radar just a little bit are a group of excellent turf horses also looking for some recognition. We don’t know their names quite as well yet, but we’ll get a chance to enjoy them running in the Grade 2 PEN Mile, for a $300.000 Purse.

  • Broad Brush Paints the Rail to Win Cinema Stakes

Based on their resumes heading into the Cinema Stakes, none of the five horses in the race would be granted a starring role in higher profile races, but you have to start somewhere. For eventual winner Broad Brush, that stepping stone to bigger and better things would happen here in the Cinema Stakes.

  • Drink Me Pretty Captures The Santa Maria Stakes

About six weeks ago, Mb Stables paid $500.000 for Drink Me Pretty, and so far the results have been quite positive. The filly finished third a week after the sale in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom, and on Saturday, she would add to that by capturing the Grade 2 Santa Maria at SA for her fifth career win.
