Successful Turf Debut for Commanding Jane in Valentine Stakes
Prior to the Valentine Stakes, Commanding Jane had never run on the turf. After a strong work here on April 29th on the grass, trainer Serenity Stables was feeling good about his filly’s chances.

Dutty John Crow Wins The Peter Pan at 39/1
For some reason, the bettors were not high on Dutty John Crow, and made him a 39/1 longshot. We were higher on him, making him one of our picks after watching him finish second in the Coolmore Lexington, which was run in the mud.

Absolutely Creepy is Absolutely the Favorite in Valentine Stakes
It was looking like the Valentine Stakes was not going to fill, but on the last day, we would get our fourth nomination, so the race is a go! Three of the four runners here do have recent experience, so we still should get an entertaining race.

On Saturday, we will either see one trainer achieve this incredible accomplishment for the first time, or we will see someone add to their legacy. Others will watch, hoping to one day make the field or to return to it.
