3 GP Royal Delta (GIII)
$150.000 4yo&Up F&M 1 1/16m Dirt 124lbs +penalties
A field of ten will be headed to the post around lunch time and we look at the field for the 2020 Royal Delta (GIII) to be run at a mile and a sixteen here in Hallendale FL. There’s some real talent in this race and we have a few that won graded stakes in the ’19 season. One of my top picks did just that and Neds Assets is my choice today. I like that she is lightly raced and given time to get “right” between races – she runs well off of the break and I look for her to be tough again today. Fabulous Angelina is another that will be looking to add to her black-type wins and that last race was a near miss. She could be the one to top if she doesn’t see any traffic issues. Techo Cheryl is looking to make it two graded wins in a row off of her AQU score in Nov. She’s never far away from the photo and should be a handful in this one.

I don’t think she ever runs a bad race… long, short, turf, dirt… she would line up in the parking lot and give you all she’s got. Closed well to just miss in the Go For Wand (GIII) and won the Raven Run (GII) prior to that. She’s a huge factor in this one.

Chunked a clunker at SA to open ’20 but she had three wins last season so don’t send her off the breeding shed just yet, especially if it rains this weekend. Her last win came on a soggy turf course at FE where she aired by three. Eight wins in fifty starts, and she has some cash. Don’t blink at class.

Back to back wins and hasn’t been out of the photo in quite some time. Three wins and three seconds in her last six starts so she certainly knows how to be around when they hand out checks. It’s her first shot at graded horses but she certainly seems capable.

This filly looks to keep her hot hand going, fresh off of that nose victory in the Turnback The Alarm Hcp (GIII) at AQU, which closed out her ’19 season. That was her only win but she was close in a number of other graded races and she should kickoff ’20 with a big run.

Her last two have been less than thrilling, running tenth in a (GII) at KEE and was fourth of five in an Alw race at TAM. She was third against graded hoses north of the border, so she has shown some talent, but she will need to regain that form to be part of this one.

Just missed to Techno Cheryl in that AQU graded race then had a fourth and a fifth to close out her season. She will need to find that early fall form or it could be another long afternoon at the races.

Lightly raced but has never been off of the board in four lifetime starts. Half of those were against claimers, and she changed hand prior to that last out runner-up finish vs. OptAlw horses. It’s another step up, but maybe she handles that.

Tough as nails mare that has been off of the board in two of fifteen lifetime starts and looks to grow her bank a bit in this one. She won the Pitcher at MTH along with a pair of Alw races last season, so there’s every reason in the world for her to compete for the win
today.

Four wins from ten starts last season including the Tranquility Lake at DMR. She closed out the season with a fourth in the Chilukki (GIII) and a dud in the La Break (GI) but this looks like a spot for her to run big.

Her two race win streak snapped when sixth in the La Canada (GII) last out. She had a solid ’19 season and will look to bounce back from that SA start, and with four wins from eight starts, she looks like the type that can do just that.
