And it’s that time of year folks for the 2018 Breeders Cup here at Churchill Downs. Once again it’s a great two days of racing and in every single race a champion is going to be crowned in every division. Eighteen fillies have been entered for this years race with fourteen in the body and four also eligibles.

1. Letting Go (5-1-1-0 $96.110), trained by Team 7 Illusions

And here we have our first runner in the field and she is coming into this race off of a second place finish in the grade one Frizette where she got beat by two lengths by Camp Hollywood. She is a nice filly and if she runs that same race that she did that day she has a decent chance to win for sure.

2. Kaikoura (5-2-1-0 $194.600), trained by Smokey Stover

The first of three entries from the barn of Smokey Stover is the winner of the grade two Pocahontas over this same exact track and the same exact track and over the same exact distance. She ran a very good race that day and she obviously likes this track and distance so she has a very good chance.

3. Elegant (5-2-1-1 $323.920), trained by Mb Stables

The first of the three runners from Mb Stables and this filly is coming into this race off of a win in the Florida Sire Stakes My Dear which was a four hundred dollar race going a mile and a sixteenth which is the same distance as this race. She has an alright chance in here I think if she runs like last time.

4. Blazing By (5-3-0-0 $267.600), trained by Mb Stables

The second runner from Mb Stables is a grade on winner when she won the Del Mar Debutante. She ran fourth last out in the grade one Chandelier at Santa Anita but she was on the lead that day trying to go wire to wire. She will most likely be of the pace a little today so I give her a chance for sure.

5. Sharp Suit (4-2-2-0 $227.400), trained by Rampage Stable

Right here is the lone runner from Rampage Stable and she is coming off of a second place effort where she got beat by a neck in the grade one Chandelier. She is a very solid filly for sure and has been in the top two in every single start and she definitely has a very good chance for sure.

6. Camp Hollywood (5-2-0-2 $313.240), trained by Estero Farms

The first of two runners from Estero Farms barn is the impressive winner of the grade one Frizette last out at Belmont. She proved she can get some sort of a distance and I really like her chances in this spot and I am going to make her my top pick in this race. She is my top pick in here for sure.

7. Love Struck Baby (4-4-0-0 $422.400), trained by D J C Racing Stables

This filly right here is still undefeated in four starts and it doesn’t matter what track or what distance or what competition she has faced she wins. Now she doesn’t win by a whole lot. In her four wins she has won by a nose three times and a head once. She’s very good but she needs to get the two turns.

8. Dali The Viking (5-2-0-1 $217.720), trained by Smokey Stover

The second of the three runners from Smokey Stover is coming off of a win in the grade one Chandelier at Santa Anita last start where she won by a neck. She is a good filly for sure and she is two for two going around two turns so she definitely likes the distance. She has a very good chance I think.

9. Sweet Mama (4-1-2-1 $108.830), trained by Smokey Stover

The third runner from Smokey Stover is coming off of a second place finish in the grade one Alcibiades. She got beat two lengths that day in the slop after trying to go gate to wire which is always hard to do. If she runs that same exact race she definitely has a decent shot to win this race.

10. Test Of Time (6-2-2-1 $161.000), trained by La Canada Racehorses

This filly here is coming into this race off of a sort of unconventional way to get here because she won a grade three at Woodbine which isn’t a win and you’re in race for the Breeders Cup. She has ran with some of the best and she didn’t necessarily run that bad. I think she may be a tad outclassed in here though.

11. Z Command (4-1-1-1 $110.200), trained by Joshua Stables

The lone runner from Joshua Stables is coming into this race off of a second place finish in the grade one Spinaway where she ran second by a nose to Love Struck Baby. She ran very good that day but she is going to have to stretch out in distance for the first time. If she runs the same way she has a good chance.

12. Better Than Rousey (5-3-1-0 $413.000), trained by Estero Farms

The second of the two runners from Estero Farms is coming into this race off of a win in the grade one Alcibiades where she romped in the slop by two lengths with a big closing run. If she runs that same way she will need a fast pace but I think she has a chance pretty much either way.

13. Huzza (6-3-1-0 $224.600), trained by Blushing Meadows

This filly had been running very good until her last start when she ran eighth in the grade one Chandelier. She had been running very good in sprint races and she closed very good every time she ran and then when she stretched out she didn’t have that same punch. Maybe she wont be a good closing router. Hi

14. Kaizoku (7-1-3-0 $119.970), trained by Mb Stables

The final runner in the main field and the third entry from Mb Stables is coming into this race off of a ninth place finish in the grade one Frizette at Belmont. She didn’t tun good that day at all. She is very limited from this outside post also so I don’t think she has much of a chance in this spot.

15. Book Of Aggravation (5-1-2-1 $109.140), trained by Estero Farms

Also Eligible

16. Viking Birthday (5-2-1-0 $79.600), trained by Delta Farms

Also Eligible

17. Highland Panther (5-2-3-0 $105.900), trained by Axeman

Scratched

18. Cheetah (6-2-2-0 $94.000), trained by Angelos Stable

Also Eligible

Summary

The biggest race of the two year old filly division right here and there are some very nice fillies in this race and whoever wins will probably be the two year old filly champion. My top pick is going to be Camp Hollywood and then I am going to go with Love Struck Baby. Good luck to all in the race.
