Well in the end this race was dominated by class and this mare is all class. Stalking the lead, she was always going well and timed her effort perfectly to get one over on her longtime rival Poetic Panther. This filly has been a revelation since switching to the turf and she put her name out there today for another go at the BC this year.

Back to her consistent best she ran up with Beach Towel the whole way and whilst she may have found this trip a little sharp for her, she still kept on with all her old zest.

Third on class and third in the race she kept on well for third and with age on her side may find her day will come in the future.

Tried to mix it with some of the best in the game and did really well until faltering late. This was a good effort and there is nothing wrong with finishing a length behind a mare like Beach Towel.
