1st Bella Moon, trained by Smokey Stover

A very good run from this horse from the Smokey Stover. He came from far back in the field to win this race and it was a very gallant run for sure. Sitting eighth and then seventh be just kept moving toward until he finally grabbed the win by a neck. He ran the seven furlongs in 1:20.55 and earned $105.000 in the win.

2nd Quarter King, trained by Gdp Inc

Another off the pace run he cane back from three lengths off the pace but couldn’t finish as quick as the eventual winner. He ran his best and was just unlucky to not win the race because he definitely ran a race that would have won with a little different trip for the winner. Very good runner up finish.

3rd Bridge Art, trained by Wolfs Den

Another one who cane from off the pace but he came from the farthest back of any from the top three finishers. Sitting in tenth in the really stages he came with charge from the back that say him miss put by just a half length. If he was closer up who knows where he may have finished.

4th Baie Baie, trained by Spankys Barn

The only one in the top four finishers that was within less than three lengths in the early parts he tried to sit second all the way and win it. He did hit the front at one point but couldn’t hold off the late charges of the top three. He ran a very good race and only ended up getting beat by three quarters of a length.

Summary

The top three finishing spots were swept by horses who came from behind and the fourth place finisher was the only one close to the pace. Bella Moon ran a very great closing race to win and the other horses that ran behind him ran good but not good enough to win the race. Congratulations to all the conncections.
