   1   KEE  Limestone Turf Sprint

$250.000     3yoF     5 1/2f Turf    120lbs

A KEE race going un-covered?  Not on my watch!  We look at a nice group of sophomore filly turf sprinters, ready to cover five and a half furlongs on the lush Lexington lawn, and the Limestone Turf Sprint is a race I always look forward to.  The Green Card says to go with the only stakes winner in the race, and that is the (you won’t believe this) far outside post and Fox Off.  Four consecutive wins since her only bad race, the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint (GII) where she just never got going… she’s been first or second in every other race, so the pick seems right to me.  When Doves Cry has won two of three and lands the second choice.  She broke maiden at FG and won an Alw race last out, both with closing kicks… personally, I’d like to see her closer to the pace, but I’m not arguing the selection.  In the spirit of our races, the Card has a DH for the third choice… and they are from the same barn.  Dylans Truth is always in the middle of things, and certainly deserves some attention, as does stable-mate True Dreamer, a winner last out on the downhill at SA.  I really like that Dreamer if it rains, or if they mark it wet because, well, you know…  wink wink
