This race took on the complexion that we are used to seeing at HRP as the wide gate went to the front and the one in the trail comes right over the top with all those in between fighting out the place money. This nice filly was always going to be suited by a small field being the deep closer she is and as she pulled out the writing was on the wall a long way out.

2nd Nude Beach Aer Stables Velez J I

Stalked the lead but when the whips came out she had no clothes on and she just kept on at the one pace for second. She lost nothing in defeat here and but for the winner coming late ran the perfect race. Wins will come her way before the season ends.

3rd Tenrikyo Smokey Stover Franco G

Wide gate closer or wide gate leader this filly has done both but today wasn’t to be her day as she led from the gate but was strangely flat footed for a period into the stretch but kept on really strongly in the end. This was an odd run from the 2019 KYO winner who never seems to run two races the same.

4th Too Much Wisdom Mb Stables Espinoza V

Took up a good position but while we used to see the Mb runner get going down the stretch this one just whacked away in the end.
