After three consecutive seasons of sophomores claiming this title, recent purchase by Maxmillion Farm to bring four year old Catch A Buzz into the foal of his barns and capture this past Saturdays feature race at GP. Definitely was a “high” for this trainer, as the chestnut would earn his first ever triple digit SRF event.

Not only would Catch A Buzz earn Max his second Jewel title as well as the four year old’s first ever stakes title, stablemate Justin Credible would finish in a dead heat with Unreleased for the runner-up placing at the line. Going one/two in this event is definitely a show of the talent of this trainer. The older six year old Justin proven here on Saturday that it is way to soon to send him to the pastures just yet. Amazingly, both of these competitors had thirty dollar price tags when they came over to Maxmillion Farm.
Night Rider Stables was truly hoping that Unreleased was going to find the wire on top and earn him a back to back victory in this years event, but there is no way he should be disappointed with the effort put forth by his older six year old. While three year olds seemed to dominate the earlier part of the season, it was finally nice to see some older winners and purse runners to show up for the prizes.
Minor share on the day was awarded to Night Rider Stables other runner Undefeated Season who put in a late run to the wire, but just ran out of track to soon to finish higher in the standings. The Moment Of Madness four year old foal is getting just that much closer to winning his first ever stakes title.
