An Easy 1-2 Finish For Mb Stables In The SAR Oaks

It was a wet one in Upstate New York today, and virtual SAR was not spared from the rain. The result of this precipitation left us with a yielding turf course and two horses, Copper Jewels and Bombing For Peace, scratching out. That meant that our pick to win the race would not be taking part.

Bombing For Peace Looks Tough in SAR Oaks

As the calendar turns to August, an entertaining slate of stakes racing are sure to entertain us all month. On Friday, one of the first such races is the fifth running of the SAR Oaks, a long turf event for three year old fillies. At 73/1, Mo Temptation Splashes Away to The MTH Oaks Win

The MTH Oaks Sends Eight to the Gate

The highlight of the day at MTH on Saturday will be the 18th running of the MTH Oaks, sending three year old fillies a little more than a mile over the main track. It is a race that debuted in 2006, and up until last year, saw it’s purse range from between $100.000 and $200.000.
