Freed Up Powerfully Takes Times Square with Stretch Run

The NY Stallion Series- Times Square consisted of a group of seven horses looking to make a name for themselves. Only two of them have earned at least $100.000 for their career, and the highest amount of earnings coming into the race was $163.400. That would make this race about opportunity, a chance to get a big win and potentially set themselves up for bigger and better in their still young careers.

It’s A Runyon Reunion in Times Square

We get ourselves a good ol’ Smokey Stover versus Arindel duel in the 14th running of the Times Square, which is part of the NY Stallion Series. The race draws a field of seven, but those two trainers will have five of those runners. D J C Racing Stables and La Canada Racehorses have the other horses in the field and will look to play the spoiler role.

That Looked Simple! Ma Petite Penne Unchallenged in Sand Springs Win

Heading into the race, Ma Petite Penne looked to us like the one to beat, but the bettors thought otherwise and allowed our pick to go off at odds of 8/1. She didn’t have the same time of resume as others, and is why she may have ended up as a longshot, but ever since she started receiving bute, she has not only been winning, but dominating, with three length victories in her last two starts.

Ma Petite Penne Looks to Keep Rolling in Sand Springs

Before I begin looking at this race, I just have to say that Michael LaRosa is in my thoughts and prayers. I didn’t know him, but I do know he was a great person and a pillar of the HRP community. I know that he want this to go on, and I am privileged to be a part of the SRF team that will ensure that his idea from 2005 will live on for as long as our virtual game will.
