Chase wins The Franklin Square by going close up early then improved to take up a length lead and closed down in the final furlong to win by a neck from the running on Crown Of Jewels with Finish The Fight a length further back in third. The winner is owned by D J C Racing Stables.

How they ran.

Chase broke in second and improved position taking up the lead entering the home stretch going a length clear of the field and to be closed down in the final furlong holding on to win by a neck.

Crown Of Jewels settled near the rear of the field five lengths off the pace then ran on strongly closing at the finish to finish second.

Finish The Fight broke out in front of the field and passed entering the home stretch staying on at one pace dropping back to finish third.

Show Stopper never in the race started at the rear of the field five lengths off the pace then ran on to take fourth in the final furlong beaten by three lengths.

Sneaky Little Opus started in third then just went backwards to finish last of the five runners beaten by five lengths.
