1st      Cheveley Chateau          The Sidley Stud                8-1 HRP 4-1 SRF

Four races on turf and Cheveley Chateau has now won two, and this one was a whopper. Using his usual deep close tactics, he came out of the starting gate spotting the field four lengths and dropped back until coming home when he started a move that closed the three-length deficit and added one for victory earning the four-year-old gelding by Cheveley Park a 102 SRF rating.

2nd      Dirtiest Sin            The Sidley Stud                4-1 HRP 3-1 SRF

Dirtiest Sin continues his brilliant recent form with a second in the highest grade race he’s ever tried. That gate opened and he leaped into a length lead that quickly became two lengths. He carried the lead into the stretch until the deep close of Cheveley Chateau passed him by.                                                                         

3rd      The Golden Age                  Mb Stables             7-1 HRP 10-1 SRF

Now, The Golden Age is proving he can run on either surface without much concern, and he can switch tactics as required, although Saturday’s deep close seem to be his favourite. He broke well back in seventh and was sixth at the stretch, continued on well, but couldn’t catch the first two.

4th      Scorched                   Mb Stables                      5-1 HRP 5-1 SRF

Scorched dueled with Dirtiest Sin from the git-go right into the stretch and continued on bravely but there were too many closers.
