Three Year Olds NY Breds

1st Chiozza, trained by Estero Farms

A big win for this runner right here as he finally gets his second career win almost a year after his maiden win. He was midpack early on and made a big run down the stretch to go by all of them and win by half of a length. He ran the distance in 1:15.64 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Senor Bay, trained by Gdp Inc

Also a very nice run from this horse as he closed nicely to run second and only get beat by half of a length. He bad pretty much the same trip as the winner but just could not keep up with him. He still closed nicely for the runner up finish though and was clearly second best.

3rd Gettysburg, trained by Night Rider Stables

Well I did think for a second that Night Rider Stables would get his third win in a row in this race but this horse could just not hold off the top two. He hit the lead maybe just a little early but he still fought on for a good third. He was only beaten three quarters of a length so he was right there with them.

4th Fire N Fury, trained by D J C Racing Stables

Well my top pick right here pretty much screwed himself by going to the lead because it is so difficult to win from the front. He opened up a quick lead but was soon passed and it was pretty much over from there. He didn’t throw in the towel necessarily though and fought on to only get beat by a length.

Summary

Well I think that the winner is going to be a better sprinter than a router that is for sure. His trainer said himself in the chat room that he thinks he will keep him rolling around in sprint races. He ran a big race today and should improve off of this race. Congratulations to Chiozza and Estero Farms.
