Well a month at HRP can be enough time to make a champion or break one and we saw a massive form swing as this lovely filly found her best again in a gutsy run. Last in the Edgewood last time it looked like she would be back to overnights to gain some experience but the trainer thought different and threw her back in here with confidence. A ten length form swing is pretty massive especially when you consider there are very few influences to make that happen but she made it happen today, some how.

Taken much further back on a similar pace to the Edgewood she flew home to grab the win on the line today after weakening like a wet blanket in the Edgewood. That either means that the trainer made a brilliant decision to hit the gaming buttons today or the race engine decided to do something funky but either way this was a great win for the home bred filly.

In only her fifth start today she looks a great prospect.

Looked more like the filly that ran fourth in the BC Juvenile Turf today and very nearly held on for the win. She has been busy but is holding her form well and must be winning a  graded stakes sooner rather than later.

Ran the loose stalk and looked like she would go on and win at one point but was vulnerable to those behind her and in the end gave way. Beaten under a length and a solid effort.

4th        Wild Water Wagon      La Canada Racehorses          Velazquez J R 1:40.72 She has beaten all of those in front of her before but today couldn’t confirm that but let’s face it, we are used to that with form lines at HRP. I was a bit disappointed as the pace seemed perfect for her to launch and she held a pretty good position but just couldn’t sprint at the right time.
