Comic Gold Makes it Five in a Row in The Kona Stake

1st Comic Gold: Sat just off the leaders and when Gryder asked him to go he responded very well winning by a neck and earning a beyer of 96.

2nd A Beagle Named Boo: Closed like a freight train and just missed getting to the leader. Needed 2 more jumps to get his picture taken.

3rd Duke Or Earl: Set wicked fast pace and faded in stretch. 3/4 a mile and he is the winner but the extra half a furlong got to him.

4th Down In Pocono: Sat mid pack and made a little run but not enough to pass the tired pace setter.

5th Bob Mueller: Sat just off pace setter early. Then he fell back and made a late run to pass tired ones.

6th Kapa Gold: Sat mid pack and never passed a horse. No kick left for the drive.

7th Orange Star: Was well back in the field and never engaged in the race. Might have been a little to salty of a spot for this runner.

8th Along For The Ride: Was just along for the ride and showed no interest in this race.
