Copper Clappers, trained by Razorback Racing, sat 4 lengths back off the leading running down the rest in the stretch to return to the winner’s circle for the first time since last fall.
Pure Violence, trained by MB Stables, lacked the extra kick to edge out the winner, but 2nd in a grade 2 is not too shabby!
Iron Throne had the lead till the quarter pole, but tired fading back to third, but running a big race in doing so.
