1st Darth Charley Diablo Diablo Stein J

What a difference the draw makes here at HRP, promoted to the lead by the wide gate speed push in his last two today by draw or design he was taken back and looked much more like the horse we know he is. Cruising up down the stretch he still had work to do at the half furlong mark but he had massive momentum and swept past with ease. Bred by the owner this will give the veteran trainer a huge amount of pleasure as he now goes to the BC with every chance.

2nd Found Peace Mb Stables Tunon M

Seemed to get the perfect run from the one box but the early pace was pretty hot and he had to work to keep up so although he was leading inside the final furlong he looked vulnerable as the winner came from a much more conservative spot. This one is all speed at the moment but is still on 15.2hh so may be a better three year old.

3rd Bad Precedent Mo Mentum Farm Bisono J

The wide gate speed push saw this one contest a fast early pace and that was ultimately his undoing. He really deserves a break after his last two from wide gates and i can see him catching a good purse if he gets it.

4th Promised Prince Patterson Stables Ryan S

Taken back and made nice ground at the end i felt that this trip may be a bit sharp for him before the race and that ended up being the case. There is plenty more to come from this one but i do think his future may see him over a longer trip than this.
