4 KEE Vinery Madison (GI)
$600.000 4yo&Up F&M 7f Dirt 123lbs
It isn’t often that the lady sprinters run for a $600.000 purse, but the dashing divas look at a big payday in the Vinery Madison (GI) at KEE on Saturday. The seven-panel test is a real “feather in the cap” so expect the hair to fly!
So, the system used for the Green Card has been around since 1973, that I know of… and it isn’t often that it “runs off the rails” like it does in this race… but… Willie says to load-up on Penal Partido Rene, today. Four wins in her last five races, a third in the other trip to the gate… she never seems to miss a check, has won both starts this year… you get the idea… she’s tough.
Parade Leader is another that won last out, and she lands in the second spot. That was a nice run in the Hurricane Bertie GIII) at GP, last out, and she had four wins last season. Another that has speed and can make you pay.
Smokin Cara makes her return to the races after a poor outing in the La Brea (GI) at SA, to close out her ’23 season. She closed well to be fourth in the BC FM Sprint (GI) and had four wins during the year, including the Raven Run (GII) here at KEE back in Oct. Home cookin’ and a bullet work over the track getting ready for this… watch her.
