9 TAM The Endeavour BC (GIII)
$175.000 1 1/6m Turf 4yo&Up F&M 122lbs +penalties
You could have claimed her for $10.000 or $12.000… I’m guessing right now shes not for sale because Delinquent Assembly is GOOD! Using her speed, yet again, she set the pace throughout The Endeavour BC (GIII) at TAM, never looked back and got the mile and a sixteenth in a quick 1:40.01, speeding home by a length. Limited Risk tracked the winner throughout but never could make a battle of it, settling for second at 22/1 odds. Dalitierri
Girl was third, just a head back of the place horse.
The field of seven left the starting gate from the inside chute with Delinquent Assembly showing the way, Limited Risk on her outside, Daliterri Girl from the rail, Trippi Tip Toe next to that one. Wbf No Regrets was next, Ice Cream Truck and Smart Queen was the early trailer.
Around the clubhouse turn and onto the back stretch with five furlongs to run, Delinquent Assembly in front by a length and a quarter. Limited Risk continued to track that one, another length to Daliterri Girl skimming the hedge, a gap of two back to Wbf No Regrets, Trippi Tip Toe on her flank and Ice Cream Truck caught four wide, as Smart Queen continued to bring up the rear, five lengths from the leader.
They made their way down the backside and into the far turn with five-sixteenths to run and Delinquent Assembly had skipped off to lead by two. Limited Risk still in second and Daliterri Girl saving ground in third. Ice Cream Truck began to move forward with Wbf No Regrets to her inside, and other length to Tripp Tip Toe and Smart Queen still the back marker, six lengths from the front end.
Inside the final furlong and to the finish, this was a one horse show, Delinquent Assembly continued to show the way and was never threatened going under the wire a length in front. Limited Risk tried to make it interesting but just couldn’t close end, settling for second a head in front of Daliterri Girl in third. Wbf No Regrets was fourth, Ice Cream Truck in fifth, Trippi Tip Toe in sixth and Smart Queen rounded this
one out.
Delinquent Assembly is a 4yo bay filly by Hispaniola – Delinquent Note by Short Sale and she was bred in FLA by her owner, Nakamura Stables. This was her seventh win from fourteen starts and she has earnings of $219.640. That’s back-to-back wire-to-wire stakes wins for her and I’m sure we will see her back in black-type company soon.

Delinquent Assembly broke alertly, set the pace throughout, never threatened. Limited Risk tracked the leader, could not get to the winner. Dalitierri Girl saved ground, some late improvement, just missed place. Wbf No Regrets settled mid-pack, evenly. Ice Cream Truck raced mid-pack while wide throughout, flattened late. Trippi Tip Toe was never involved, outrun. Smart Queen trailed throughout.
