The draw was tough but the race engine was kind to this daughter of Mr Creepy who went back early but finished like a train to score by a comfortable length. On her running style and form so far she should get a mile well enough and i expect her to be among the favorites come Novembers BC races.

2nd Untouched Talent Fractious Alvarado J

In from the ballot after Mb Stables withdrew their runner the way these wide draws ran today i wonder if the champion trainer regrets that decision. Up on the speed from gate 13 is a very tough spot but this filly kept giving all the way and was a very game second. Its fair to say the winner won with something in hand but the very fact that they came from either ends of the field suggests that this one with a better draw may be able to get closer in future.

3rd Miss Tallmadge Oquinn Farm Leparoux J R

Stuck to her guns well for third beaten just a length. I guess the question now for the trainer is how they can get to the BC with this filly and whether she will go further. The other question after her impressive win in the My Dear on a slightly off track is will she end up a wet tracker. All good questions with a filly of this class though and the season is still young for her.

Two lengths back in the My Dear she was much closer today and looked pretty good considering she was winning a maiden claimer on debut.
