Dream Controlled Over Stablemate Indistinguishable

                                  The BEL – GI
                        BEL Race 1 1/2M – Dirt
                              Purse $1,500.000
                              Three Year Olds

1st Dream Controlled, trained by Mb Stables

Now while it wasn’t one of the two we really thought would win it definitely was not a shocker or big longshot that won. This is horse is one of if not the best three year old Mb Stables has. The change in tactics was the key to winning this race because he came from off the pace in here. He ran the race in 2:29.92 and earned $900.000.

2nd Indistinguishable, trained by Mb Stables

A one two finish for Mb Stables as the Preakness winner ended up getting beat by his stablemate. He ran a very big race in here once again and proved he is one of the top three year olds there is. He came from about midpack and just couldn’t keep up with Dream Controlled as he was boxed in until late as they ran to the finish.

3rd Splash Mountain, trained by Smokey Stover

Another very good run from this horse again as he tried to win from close to the pace like last time. He sat right off of the pace most of the way and then as the top two ran him down he had to dig down deep to hold on for third. Another very good race from him and he proved he is one of the top three year olds.

4th Blindfold, trained by Mb Stables

Almost a trifecta sweep of Mb Stables in here but at least the Smokey Stover runner finished third. This horse came from far back in the field to grab fourth and ends up going home sixty dollars richer. He played third fiddle from Mb Stables but ran a really respectable race to run fourth.

Summary

Well another year of the triple crown is over and just like almost every year we saw a different horse win every race. This year Pretty Ferro was our Derby winner, Indistinguishable was the Preakness winner and Dream Controlled was our Belmont winner. Mb Stables won the Preakness and Belmont winning trainer with Estero Farms as the Derby winning trainer.
