May 1, 4 year olds and upwards take the stage in the G2 Alysheba going a mile and a sixteenth for a purse of $400.000
1. Russian Dictator trained by Gdp Inc: Comes out of a OCL where he was the winner at the Fair Grounds. He is a graded stakes placed horse but still has to prove he can compete at this stage.
2. In Captivity trained by Mb Stables: His connections were looking for a better performance last out but now stretching him back out and going a route of ground Mb will trying something different.
3. Snakie Authorization trained by John Henry: Has not been close in his last three starts but the extra distance today and he is back on the dirt may bring out the best in this horse.
4. Admiration trained by Mb Stables: This horse has won graded stakes on the lead and coming from the clouds so wherever this horse finds comfortable he will be right there late.
5. Danger Close trained by Twin Towers Racing: Testing the stakes waters for the first time in over a year. This horse seems to be at peak form right now and doing better than he ever has.
6. Mintmatch trained by Nolespan Racing: Claimed for $10.500 his last start this horse has eveything stacked against him in this spot as I see he is way over his head.
7. Unfold trained by Fractious: Breeders Cup Dirt Mile winner and third in the Pegasus World Cup. Threw a little clunker in the Santa Anita Handicap but do not think a mile and a quarter is his lick. Taking on a little easier competition today he is very tough in this spot.
8. Cymbaline trained by Patterson Stables: Comes off a third place finish in allowance company. Did run 2nd in state bred stake at Woodbine but now facing a lot stronger competition this will be a tough race for him to win.
Good Luck To All!
