RACE 1 KEE |

She’s been a tough filly to get past, winning her last three in fine fashion. Now those were at TUP against less that what she sees here today, but if they forget to tell her that she’s at KEE, she may just keep on running like she’s in Phoenix. I’d expect better odds here today as well.
Broke maiden then ran a respectable third while closing late at TAM over a wet turf course. This is obviously a step up for this one but she’s been close in every start so maybe she doesn’t know who any of these are and keeps doing her thing. I think she will be an outsider.
Won two of three since switching barns and that was a nice win on the grass at FG v. stakes company last out. She’s won four of seven lifetime and has never been off of the board… dirt, turf, different tracks… she could run if they lined ’em up in the parking lot. Look for another solid effort and she may be back in the winner’s circle.
Stopped badly in the late stages of the Herecomesthebride (GIII) at GP in her most recent. That race was a half furlong longer than what she’s been looking at, but it was more the running style that baffles me than anything. She’s been a closer and in that one she went right to the front – who do we get today?
Tired to be fourth in the FL Oaks (GIII) at TAM while doing all of the heavy lifting in the early stages of that one. That was her first at that distance and against stakes company for the first time, so she may have been up against it from the get-go. Still I’d give her a shot in that one to turn it around and get back to the picture booth.
Failed when facing black-type horses for the first time as she was fifth in the Herecomesthebride. They shorten her back up as the mile and a sixteenth doesn’t seem to be her best distance. She could be around for a minor share of this one.
She won the BC Juv F Turf (GI) but it’s been tough racing since then. tired at 5f to kick off the ’16 season and then ran last of ten in the FL Oaks (GIII) at TAM. Can she find some of that old magic or are her best days already behind her? If she can’t get it done here, it’s hard to say.
Broke maiden at SA on the down-hill course and all of her three lifetime starts have been down the hill. She looks like a decent sort and may just be looking at her best days still ahead of her. This isn’t an easy place to keep it going, but maybe we find out that she really is this type of horse.
