Three Year Olds and Up Fillies And Mares
1st Enoughs Enough, trained by Mb Stables
One of the three year olds in the field and also on of the three from Mb Stables got the win and is now in the Breeders Cup Distaff. She came from midpack with a very nice rally to edge away at the end to win by half of a length. She won the race in 1:41.49 and ended up earning $180.000 for the win.
2nd Molly Magne, trained by Gdp Inc
Another one of the three year old fillies in the field she also ran a very good race. She was also sitting about midpack during the race and made a pretty gallant run but couldn’t go with Enoughs Enough. She still ran a very good race and should be tough next out when she runs again.
3rd Dirty Deeds, trained by Aer Stables
Finally one of the older fillies hit the board. This was my second choice in here but she never had a chance after she ended up on the front which everyone knows is usually impossible to win from. She ran a very good race to finish third actually after leading for most of the way around there.
4th Wicked Heat, trained by Mb Stables
Another one of the older mares in the race she came from way back in the field in almost last place for a while. She came with a pretty good closing kick but ran out of real estate. She ran a very big race but just couldn’t catch the top three. Another sixteenth or so and she might have won.
Summary
Well the top two I definitely didn’t see winning as they were going up against some very good battle tested mares. But two out of the three young gun fillies ran very big and went one two and left some of the best older fillies and mates in the dust. Congratulations to Enoughs Enough and Mb Stables.
