1 Queens Command Allinthegate Lanerie C J
The fillies get their chance at black type here and the first one we look at looks a smart type who has yet to be tested at this level. She took a little bit to get herself going but broke her maiden on her third start and then went on for an impressive four length win over this trip in an optional claimer last time. She gets the ace draw and should be suited there on her racing style and with strong works looks a decent chance to go well in her first stakes test.
2 Cardi B Gdp Inc Hill C
Four runs and never out of the first three she won her maiden at BEL very impressively and then nearly followed up in the state bred Maid Of The Mist when a game third beaten juts a half length. That field was better than we normally see in a statebred stakes race and she ran right to the line suggesting this trip will suit. Her works are strong and she gets a very nice draw to work with, a winning chance.
3 Mach Eight First Class Stable Rocco J S Jr
Won on debut way back in April and has contested some of the best juvenile fillies race so far with varying success. She was disappointing in the Adirondack and the Alcibiades but both of those runs were on an off track and maybe a better guide to her ability would be her third in the Pocahontas when beaten a couple of lengths. She is pretty exposed on form and there may not be too much more to come but she has experience at this level and that will stand her in good stead.
4 Distorted Express D J C Racing Stables Landeros C
Won her maiden for Jader Stable and then ran pretty well in the Schuylerville to be fifth. After a close second at ungraded level she was bought by her current owner for $150.000 but has failed to really come on for the trainer finishing a fair sixth in the Chandelier and then third in the ungraded Surfer Girl last time . Another that seems to have had her chances she has ability but hasnt produced at this level yet.
5 Yummy Eggs Drabfantasy Albarado R J
Was pretty consistent at ungraded level winning a couple of black type races ad placing in the other two. Those efforts earnt her a spot in the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf but a terrible draw didnt help her chances and she made no real show to finish ninth albeit only beaten four lengths. The question to be answered today will be whether she can win on dirt at this level but she has shown good form on the turf so if she can cross over she would have a good chance.
6 Book Of Aggravation Estero Farms Geroux F
Took her time to win her maiden eventually winning on her fourth start but was immediately thrown into the big time and responded well by finishing a great third in the Chandelier. She got back that day and flew home to be beaten less than a length and that looks like some of the best lead in form for this race. Her works are strong and her stable has been churning out big race winners all year so she must be a winning chance.
7 Artificial Mb Stables Bridgmohan S X
The first of the two stable entries she ran a good third in the Spinaway before switching to the turf to finish second in the Jessamine which earned her a run in the BC Juvenile Fillies. There werent too many excuses that day and her trainer brings her back to the dirt today in an attempt to find that Jessamine and Spinaway form. She si working well enough to suggest she wont mind the dirt and she would have a good chance especially if we see a bit of rain.
8 Viking Birthday Delta Farms Santana R Jr
Won two in a row very easily before being drawn wide in the Pocahontas and running very well being forced to make the running by the wide gate speed push. She ran completely differently from an inside draw in the Frizette and this time made up plenty of ground late to be fifth. If she can sort out a running style somewhere between those last two starts she would have a great chance in this.
9 Red Lucy The Sidley Stud Gaffalione T
The table is in good form so she must be taken seriously but whilst she has been consistent at a lower level she has been well tested and doesnt quite look up to this grade.
10 Dream Whisperer Mb Stables Leparoux J R
The second stable runner she has never finished outside the top 4 in 6 races and will be thereabout at the end. Another that has been trying the turf and performed pretty well although no better than her efforts in dirt so comes back to that surface today. Third in the Seek The Ante over a sprint trip on dirt and second in the Flower on turf she has a good engine but may just lack the finish in a race at this level.
11 Gingerandmaryann Nakamura Stables Beschizza A
Won two in a row before having a go in the Frizette where she ran pretty well to be third but beaten three lengths. This difficult draw wont help her chances but if she can lay up in midfield she may run a decent race.
12 Better Di Alydar Stables Hernandez B J Jr
A winner of three at overnight level gets a chance to step up today but has been handed a tough task with a wide draw. She is a nice sort and her win last time over a mile was pretty impressive and being an on pace type she may just benefit from some wide gate speed push.
SUMMARY
A tough race to pick a winner i am going for Book Of Aggravation to continue a huge season for Estero Farms.
