1) Uncle Charlie, J. Bridgmohan – should be favored here today after an easy win in an OCL in a swift mile on grass.
2) Quiet Sevens, N. Mangalee – looks to return to form after two disappointing efforts for KYD winner AER Stables.
3) Pip Bull, O. Bocachica – I do not see him as a turf miler but rather a classic distance turf horse. I believe the extra distance is necessary.
4) French Appeal, P. Lopez – owned by yours truly gets 10% jockey and Monmouth Park multiple leading rider as he takes a crack in a GIII off the claim.
5) Diplomatic Rule, G Saez – gets the 16yo apprentice up in the irons for his second consecutive GIII. Can’t count DJC out.
6) Nebraska Forty, C. Rivera – win streak was snapped in last start where he was a disappointing 5th by 4L. Looks to regain his winning ways.
7) Star O Star, CC. Lopez – gets veteran jockey CC into the saddle as he seeks his first win since he broke his maiden.
8) Bridal General, C. Ferrer – always there in his last 4 races all being graded stakes. Can’t expect anything less from him today.
9) Banana Boy, A. Serpa – the 30/1 morning line is a joke this one has a real good chance for Raj.
