Eye Appeal from Mb Stables traded punches with Sassette from Serenity Stables the entire race and finally threw the knockout punch in deep stretch to prevail by a long neck to win The Debutante Stakes on Sunday afternoon. A thrilling race for the fans. Congrats to the winning connections. The aforementioned Sassette ran a banger and did everything but win the race in a solid performance. Class Play from Delta Farms and Sunset Sur La Mer from Nakamura Stables gave the fans even more to scream about as they hit the wire together and dead-heated for third place right behind the top two fillies. Nice job to all four involved in the superfecta!

Of The Rest;

Susan Lots Of Ice from Hammelot Farm ran decent enough race to finish fifth today in only her second lifetime start.

Doubtville Gal from TwinTowers Racing got a little too far back and although she put in a run, she was unable to get to the leaders on the afternoon.

Seven Seven Seven from Greyhound ran seventh most of the way and ended up finishing in that position. Expect a drop and a much improved effort in her next start.

Mr Ed from Angelos Stable was unable to get to the lead from her rail draw, got subsequently covered up and tired slightly to run eighth.

Bay and Knight from Our Athletes found the surroundings not nearly as cozy as when making her debut. look for a probably drop and a better effort in her next under silks.

Excellent Meeting from Royalty Stables got some seasoning here today and will be a better horse for it. She was unable to impact todays cast.

Shards Of Bo from Bigchief Stables is one to put on your watch list. “Bo” was sent along from her poor draw and pushed hard the whole way. She tired late and dropped out of it, but will get a lot out of this one and could be a tigress in her next if well spotted.

December Storm from Barcelona Farms broke last and never made a move today at a monster price.
