Fayette – Grade 2 – $350.000
KEE – 1 1/8 Mile – Dirt
For Three Year Olds And Upward
October 28, 2023
1 Ey Mon (Arindel)
Won the PIM Special in May but hasn’t been back to the winner’s circle since. Did score two close third place finishes in the Suburban and the Pacific Classic. Should be competitive in this field.
2 Harlem (Fractious)
Very successful in optional claiming company, not so much in stakes. Big step up for this four-year-old.
3 Z Mission (Luz International)
Won by four lengths last start in allowance company. This four-year-old gelding has a win in the Grade 2 Eclipse where he scored a 102 SRF. With four wins this year, I like his chances.
4 Eight West Party (TwinTowersRacing)
Missed by a nose in the Grade 1 Awesome Again last out after winning the Grade 2 Suburban in July. Not always consistent, though, but if he is on, he could be a major factor here.
5 Sunset Wolf (Night Rider Stables)
Dead heat win in the Knicks Go back in May. Closest he’s gotten to the winner’s circle since was a close second in the JC Gold Cup two back. Could get a piece of the purse.
6 Flip A Coin Party (Threshold)
Riding high on a four-race winning streak that includes a four-length win last out in the Greenwood Cup. Other wins were in allowance company and the win came at a mile and a half, but he shouldn’t be ignored in this field.
7 Berlin (The Sidley Stud)
Won the Durham Cup last start. This is a $7.000 claimer that has been brilliant for his new connections with the exception of an 11th place finish in the Whitney. Should like this spot much better, and a win wouldn’t be a surprise.
