10 CD Day Mile Stakes (GII)
$500.000 3yo 1mile Dirt 122 lbs
I didn’t pick her, I just can’t do it… I can’t do it. By my love affair with Feral Impact is known and she once again proved that she is a bad-ass, taking down the boys as the Mb Stables trained monster won the Day Mile Sakes (GII) by a quarter length, getting the flat mile in 1:343. Sent off as the 7/2 favorite, she pressed the pace throughout and got up late holding off long-shot (72/1) High Crimes, that one closing well to grab the place. It was another length back to Get Set Gone in third, and Dream State getting the best of a head-bob finish for the fourth place.
Feral Impact is a 3yo black filly by Impactful – Ferrell, by Ferro, and she was bred in PA by Joshua Stables. Sold prior to her racing career for $100.000, the Mb Stables conditioned filly now has four wins and three placings from nine starts and earnings of $1,824.960.

Feral Impact broke alertly, pressed the pace, battled down the lane, wore down foe, won driving. High Crimes raced mid-pack in the early stages, responded when roused, battled, second best. Get Set Gone up close throughout, even effort. Dream State rated back, best foot too late, gaining. Accountant forced the pace, tired. Indie Bread evenly, not a threat. Sunderland Til I Die passed tiring rivals, no factor. Greatest Game void of early speed, not a factor. Creep Away one pace, outrun. Shalangar B B broke alertly, set the pace to the lane, stopped. Grande Geek outrun. Marine One dull effort.
