After 8 races on the turf with some success but nothing outstanding the trainer finally changed to dirt last time out and this three year old two from her last two and looking a bit of a prospect for next year. Just like last time she played the race engine perfectly going to the front and slamming out even fractions for a fairly unchallenged two length win. I really like the direction this filly is going now and i don’t think this will be the last of the black type on her record.

2nd       Makita       The Sidley Stud       Beschizza A

This has been a really consistent filly and whilst she may lack a turn of foot she gives her all every time. Stalking the leader she never really looked like getting to her but kept on well enough for second.

3rd      Country Mission         Allinthegate        Saez G

This six year old has been a great servant for the stable winning 15 races and nearly $500 today the penalty of five pounds was too much for her and she finished a fairly flaccid third but you cannot knock her record and whether she goes to the shed or comes out as a seven year old i am sure she will continue to be an honest mare for the stable.

Got back and as we saw pretty much all day nothing was coming from that far behind today. Ran on when it was all over i feel she is better than this and would’ve benefited from a few favors from the start monster today.
