                           Two Year Olds Fillies

Well here we go for some juvenile fillies who are going to try and earn a free spot in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies of course. There are eleven entries in this field with just one of the available spots being filled in here. There are definitely some pretty good fillies in here so let’s look at the field.

1. Gingerandmaryann (3-2-1-0 $63.800), trained by Nakamura Stables

Now here is a filly who has improved every single start of her short career. She ran second in her first start and then she won two in a row including a strong win in an allowance at Saratgoa last time. But this is going to be her first out that’s not a sprint race so it’ll be interesting to see how she stretches out.

2. Viking Birthday (4-2-1-0 $79.600), trained by Delta Farms

This filly here has won twice in her career and both wins were both open lengths and she did that impressively. She stepped up in the grade two Pocahontas last out which she led for most of the way and then was beaten only a length and ran second. She looks like she could be pretty tough in here.

3. Out And Bad (5-3-0-0 $153.900), trained by Night Rider Stables

Well this filly from Night Rider Stables is coming into this race off of a win in a statebred stakes race that was right here at Belmont. She won by a very impressive three lengths that day and really ran a big race. She is very speedy so she will either have to take back or slow down the pace significantly to stay around.

4. Camp Hollywood (4-1-0-2 $73.240), trained by Estero Farms

Now here we have a filly who is going to be coming into this race off of her maiden breaking win when she won by three quarters of a length going seven furlongs at Saratoga. She definitely has some good works and I talked to her trainer Estero Farms and he likes her chances pretty good.

5. Sequana (3-1-0-1 $28.840), trained by Blushing Meadows

Now this filly here is coming into this spot off of a decent fourth place finish in a statebred stakes race at Saratoga back in August. She is coming into this race off of a pretty good break and this will be her first time going a mile. She will have to run the race of her life to have any shot.

6. Don’t Panic (2-1-0-0 $37.200), trained by Night Mare Racing

This filly right here is coming into this race off of a surprising win to me because she ran pretty bad in her first start really and then she won at Belmont last time. Maybe it was the add of the lasix or maybe she just really improved from her first start but she will have to run a huge race to win.

7. Letting Go (4-1-0-0 $16.110), trained by Team 7 Illusions

Here is a Louisiana bred filly right here who has only won one start in her career and it was a five length win in a Louisiana bred maiden special weight. She just ran last in a four horse allowance at Saratoga. I don’t see her having much of a chance in here to be honest she just looks outclassed.

8. Kaizoku (6-1-3-0 $119.970), trained by Mb Stables

Now right here is definitely one of the best fillies in the race based on her races that she has already ran in. She is coming off of a second place finish in the Del Mar Debutante where she got beat by a quarter of a length. If she gets the one mile distance she will be tough to beat in here.

9. Vibration (2-1-1-0 $21.180), trained by Smokey Stover

This filly from the barn of Smokey Stover is a head away from being undefeated right now. She won in her first career start and then got beat a head last time in an allowance race at Saratoga. If she keeps improving like she has been she could actually have a decent shot to win this big race.

10. First Impression (4-1-1-0 $63.040), trained by Mb Stables

Here is another filly who I think might have a pretty decent shot if she improved off of her fifth place finish in the grade one Spinaway. I really think she has a pretty decent job to win this race but she is obviously going to have to go the mile and run the biggest race of her life like all the rest.

11. Make You Blush (4-1-1-0 $61.400), trained by Rampage Stable

Here is another filly who I definitely think has a pretty good chance to win if this outside post doesn’t hurt her too much. She just ran fourth in the grade one Spinaway and ran a pretty good race that day. If she takes to the mile and runs a big race she could definitely get the win I really think.

Summary

This is definitely looking like a tough race for sure and I think that it is definitely going to be a pretty good race. I think there is a couple main contenders like Kaizoku and Make You Blush and also Camp Hollywood. It’ll be a good race for sure and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a big time filly come out of this race.
