A bit chalky but we did hand out the exacta as Gorogue Laga won by the hair of his chinny-chin-chin, or nose, what ever… and the Arindel charge took the LA Futurity (GII), stopping the clock in 1:41.37 for the mile and a sixteenth.  Quiet Return just missed in this brutal battle to the wire, then a length back to 32/1 shot Risen Star in third.  It was another half-length to Royal Valor in the fourth spot.  Only seven lengths covered the field in this one. 

Gorogue Laga is a 2yo bay gelding by Rogue Lawyer – Bella Laga, by Speedballz, and he was bred in ON by Lagastable.  Acquired by Arindel prior to his racing career via Private Purchase, for $150.000, he now has four wins from six starts, add in that second on BC Day, and he now has a nice bankroll of $848.920.  Congrats to the Connections!
