Great Bounty Goes from Sprinter to Extreme Router in 4 Months

Breeders Stakes
1 1/2 Mile Turf Stake Purse $400.000 Open 3 Year Olds Foaled In Canada.

1st   Great Bounty             Drabfantasy  Contreras L
This race was always about which of the 1.34 workers would win so in that sense the result was pretty predictable but if you had said a place getter in a graded five furlong sprint 4 months ago would be winning this race over a mile and a half you may have been sceptical. However this is HRP and little things like two extremes of trip mean very little to code and this homebred lapped up every yard of this race today. This was an impressive win by the three year old and his trainer may be looking for a back door to the BC in the coming month or two.

2nd   Rifleman                          EasyMoney Stables Lermyte J

Led into the final two furlongs but couldnt hold the winner and went down by a game length in the end. Another good effort though and there is plenty more success in his scope.

3rd   Nowhere Man             Mb Stables  Campbell J M

Looked to have picked the perfect position in transit but couldnt quicken up in the stretch ending up a close third. Not a bad effort but he is struggling to make his mark at this level.

4th   Unicorn                          Threshold   Garcia Alan

Won the race of the 1.35 plus workers but his race was over when he went to the front being sacrificed as the rabbit by the race engine.
