1st Ineffable, trained by TwinTowers Racing

And she won the third round of the big races here at Oaklawn and this was the biggest one of them all. She really does like this track and she has ran big here every time and this was no exception. She had to work hard to get up by a nose but she did it. She ran the distance in 1:41.68 and earned $420.000 for the win.

2nd Introverted, trained by Gdp Inc

Now this filly right here ran a huge race also and she almost scored a big upset in here. She sat second early but then decided to go to the lead halfway through the race. She was fighting hard down the lane and she almost held off the winner. She ran a very good second and should improve off of this.

3rd Ghost Road, trained by Team 7 Illinois

This runner right here also ran a huge race and really showed how good she is. I didn’t think she was quite ready for a race like this but she ran a huge race and closed from last to only get beat by a neck. She was flying late and with another half a furlong maybe she would have gotten up in time.

4th So True, trained by Mb Stables

Also a very good race from this filly as she tried to get up in there and win. She was stalking the pace early on and made a nice little run down the lane and she only ended up getting beat by about a half length when it was all said and done. She ran a good race and at least got a little bit of money for fourth.

Summary 

Well it was not the showdown that I expected between Ineffable and The Repaer but it was Ineffable getting the win over a very gallant Introverted. She was able to get her nose in front at the wire and I think she is definitely one of the best older mares in the game and maybe even the best of them all.
