With Z Command and Miss Steel Mazula scratched because of the light sprinkling of rain on the track it left this race wide open and it was no surprise to see the Sheik of HRP swoop in to scoop up the prize. The way this filly won you would have to say she may have won even without those defections but it was certainly made easier without them. Making all at a good pace no-one got close enough to smell her hoof oil as she came home unchallenged. Bought for $50 after winning a cheap turf claimer it seemed inevitable that she would be turned into a stakes winner by Mb Stables and today she took the opportunity with four hooves.

2nd Actualize Fractious Beschizza A

The three year old went off at twenty to one but did OK to finish second in the end. She certainly isn’t looking like a $250 horse but she is slowly getting better and one feels there is a good win to be had with her.

3rd Exultant Gal TwinTowersRacing Gonzalez Ru

Just one paced in the wet but managed a solid third. I do wonder why this filly has gone off the boil in this second half of the season but eight races in she may just be looking for her improvement curve to start moving again.

4th Ku Deh Night Rider Stables Saez L

Got a long way back and just plodded on for fourth, i think she hated the off track and i would be inclined to give her another chance.
