It Looks a Very Familiar Story in the Winn

Winn – Grade III
1 1/16 Mile Dirt Stake Purse $150.000 Open 3 Year Olds.

1st Telladifferentstory Nakamura Stables Saez G

Rather than a different story its been a very familiar one so far this season with Nakamura Stables beating Mb Stables once again. This one is a true representation of the effect of the draw here at HRP as he got a good draw for the second time in a row and for the second time prevailed from a comfortable stalk. I have a feeling a mile is his trip and he was tiring at the end of this race but the Nak factor got him home and all the time he gets a handy draw he will rate a good chance against any company.

2nd Kick Rocks Mb Stables Garcia Mar

Drawn wide, taken back, fly home, just fail, i could copy and paste those words and not be wrong 50 percent of the time in these types of races. This gelding is clearly improving and this was a good step up on his previous form. I am sure he will be more effective with a weight allowance against the older horses especially when stretched out over even further than this.

3rd Disco Duck Mo Mentum Farm Baze T C

Back to the surface he likes best he ran on very nicely for third beaten just a length. This is the first time he has managed to run up to his works and either Maxmillion has found the key with him or the horse just likes the change of environment. Whatever the reason he ran well today he looks like he has a good launching pad now into a successful second half of the year.

4th Finite Dynark Stables Court J K

Found a nice stalk but failed to quicken up and just whacked away for the fourth spot. He wasn’t beaten far and is lightly raced but he does seem to lack a finishing kick which may handicap him going forward at this level.
