Leading with the outside speed push at a good pace you were just waiting for this one to give up the lead but this engine doesn’t give up on the speed too easily and this seven year old had too many miles on the clock to go down without a fight. This was a 16^th career win for the gelding who has been a long time out of graded stakes wins but today was his day and boy did he take it with both hooves.

The stales win eluded this one again as he once more came up just short of the prize. This was a solid effort again for the five year old son of Niagra but he needs to break through in black type before he can really be taken seriously as a sprinter.

Went off at long odds and tried hard from the stalk but just couldn’t find that finishing kick. A game effort at long odds.

4th        Earthshine                      Black N Gold Stable Espinoza V                    :56.31 —

You can’t give this race engine a head start and win too often at this level but once again he did really well to get as close as he did.
