1st       Top Billing         Smokey Stover        Cedillo A

The trainer has really found the key with this filly sending her to the front to once again use the new race engine perfectly to secure a win whilst everyone else was worrying about the stalk. She only had a head to spare at the end but she set a very solid pace and was carrying a 2Lb penalty so that was a head win with some value. Getting away quickly she settled nicely and always looked in command even though they were catching her at the end.

2nd         Steppin Out      Mb Stables       Gonzalez Ru

This filly is such an enigma now having finished in the money in four stakes races despite struggling to win her maiden. She stalked the leader perfectly today but once again her finishing speed was the problem as she just couldn’t get past the winner. I am sure she will continue to be a force in these races and i just wonder whether she needs an extreme trip to bring out her best.

3rd          Modesta        Fractious           Van Dyke D

Followed the first two and kept trying all the way to the line but looked in need of another furlong. Only beaten a half length this was a better effort that will please the owner after a disappointing first effort but she still has a bit to pay back.

4th           Etive          Sccj Stables         Prat F

Stayed on really well and was only beaten a length at the end and this consistent filly still has plenty to give
