1 Awesome Return Axeman Hernandez R M

Won on debut and then flopped a little from a terrible gate but has looked better in his last two finishing strongly over a trip shorter than this. Gets a great draw to work with today and his last work of 1.11 flat suggests he is a lot better than his results so far.

2 Adam de Sidley The Sidley Stud Velazquez J

Won an LS maiden after a fair debut run he has failed in his next two and hasn’t come on as much as i would like to see after his maiden win. We can perhaps forgive him his last run from a tough draw and he gets a much better draw today so it will give him his best chance of proving himself at this level.

3 Jar Head Oquinn Farm Contreras L

Two runs for two wins and consecutive 1.11 works he draws great and looks like one of the favorites for this race. There was a lot to like about his allowance win at SAR and whilst this is a serious test i think he can pass with flying colors.

4 Ok Boomer Mb Stables Davis D

Ran two good efforts before breaking his maiden at WO he then went on to run a fair fourth in the Hoover Stakes where he was handicapped with a wide draw. His trainer is the main reason he will get support but i a not sure he rates as well as some of them in this race.

5 After Market Fractious Stein J

A free track maiden winner he then ran a nice third in a MTH allowance and has been working consistently well since making him a serious chance to upset the unbeaten record of my top choice.

6 Magnum Bay Gdp Inc Sanchez M J

The trainer of the moment he looks to continue his great form of last weekend and whilst this one was beaten in a little optional claimer last time he managed a 1.11 work just recently and that is quick enough to put him right in this race. There is nothing quite as good as stable form and with a big bump after his last start i will be looking for him at the finish.

7 Whatd You Say Mb Stables Court J K

The second stable runner he has run three very nice races breaking through last time out in a competitive ELP maiden. He was working 1.11 and 2 before that win so with further improvement rates a real chance here even with a nasty draw.

SUMMARY

This is a three horse race for me with Whatd You Say, Magnum Bay and Jar Head looking like the three. Box em up for the top three but if i had to favor them i would put them in draw order.
