1st Jinxed Queen, trained by Gdp Inc

One of the three year olds got the job done in here as Jinxed Queen won her second grade one in a row at Saratoga going a mile and an eighth. It was her sixth win in seven starts this year and her fourth graded stakes win. She ran the race in 1:47.94 and earned $420.000 for her victory and is making a case for three year old filly champ.

2nd Whispering Nurse, trained by D J C Racing Stables

A very tough beat for this filly as she ran a winning race also just to be beaten by a length in the end. She was close to the pace early and hit the front in the earlier part of the race so maybe if she could’ve waited a little longer the result may have been different. She ran a phenomenal race to hang on for second.

3rd Osmium, trained by D J C Racing Stables

The other runner from the barn of D J C Racing Stables ended up finishing third from a disadvantaged post and she ran very impressive to run this close to winning. She sat sort of midpack and made a little run to nab third behind the winner and her stablemate. A very solid performance for sure.

4th Queenwood, trained by Smokey Stover

This filly here also ran a pretty big race to get up for fourth cause she was farther back in the field than any of the three that beat her. She once again came with her late charge but it just wasn’t enough to get the job done. She still ran pretty good though and she is a very good filly on her best day.

Summary

Well obviously Jinxed Queen loves this Saratoga surface and this distance for sure. She is a win machine too and she’s won six out of seven starts this year and her only loss was against the boys. She is making an outstanding case for three year old filly champion. Congratulations to Jinxed Queen and Gdp Inc.
