Purse $175.00 For Fillies And Mares Three Years Old And Upward
1. Hey Again – The Benchmark Turf Worker & Most Reliable Router
Work Times
Hey Again’s turf works are consistently sharp and professional — exactly what you want from a mare who already owns five turf wins.
- 19 Aug PRX – 1m turf – 1:36.2 (h) → 4/5 Strong stamina work, right distance, right surface.
- 21 Jun PRX – 7f turf – 1:23.1 (h) → 2/2 Fast for the distance; shows sustained cruising speed.
- 29 Apr PEN – 6f turf – 1:11.3 (h) → 1/2 Bullet-type move; sharpness confirmed.
- 19 Mar WO – 5f turf – :58 (H) → 1/1 Elite turf speed.
She is the only runner with a full set of recent, fast, surface‑specific turf works. That matters.
Race Performance
Her turf record is exceptional: 9 starts → 5 wins, 2 seconds. Recent form is strong:
- 29 Jun FE – 1 1/16m turf – 93 fig → Closed steadily, won going away.
- 7 May PEN – 1m turf – 95 fig → Controlled the race; decisive win.
She’s consistent, handles the distance, and her figures (90–95) are right at the top of this field.
Verdict
The most reliable turf router in the race but lacks races at this class level.
2. Test – Brilliant Turf Speed, But Unproven Routing
Work Times
Test has been working sharply — but mostly short.
- 19 Aug ELP – 1m turf – 1:35.2 (H) → 2/2 Very fast for a 3‑year‑old; suggests real turf ability.
- 8 Jul SAR – 6f turf – 1:10.3 (H) → 6/39 Strong national‑level turf work.
- 1 Aug ELP – 6f dirt – 1:11 (H) → 3/11 Shows fitness but not surface‑specific.
She’s fast, but her works don’t show stamina beyond a mile.
Race Performance
Only three lifetime starts:
- 7 Aug ELP – 5.5f turf – 95 fig → Excellent sprint figure.
- 15 Jan BTP – 5f turf – 94 fig → Won on debut.
She has never routed and has never run beyond 5.5f. Her turf speed is elite, but stretching to 1 1/16m against older mares is a major test.
Verdict
Work times say “fast.” Race performance says “sprinter.” Distance is the question but her mile work was very promising and she could provide yet another strong filly for Team 7 who recently thinned down their stable. They kept this one which may have been by design so I would expect a strong showing and if she can overcome her inexperience she could be the smoky in this race.
3. Treaty – Good Worker, Inconsistent Racer
Work Times
Treaty’s turf works are solid but not spectacular:
- 19 Aug PEN – 1m turf – 1:36 (H) → 1/1 Matches Hey Again’s stamina profile.
- 17 Jul PRX – 6f turf – 1:10.1 (H) → 74/138 Fast time, but placement suggests average effort.
- 15 May SAR – 3f mud – :36.3
- 6 Apr SAR – 3f dirt – :36
She’s fit, but her works lack the sharpness of Hey Again or Test.
Race Performance
Her 2026 form is inconsistent:
- 7 Jul FE – 1 1/16m dirt – 89 fig → Midpack.
- 6 Jun MTH – 1 1/16m turf – 92 fig → Improved, but still not threatening.
- 3 May AQU – G3 turf – 89 fig → Outclassed.
She’s capable of mid‑90s figures but rarely produces them.
Verdict
Work times: decent. Race performance: unreliable. Needs a perfect trip to threaten.
4. Sannys Legacy – Classy, Stout, and Always Working Well
Work Times
Sannys Legacy has a long history of strong turf works:
- 19 Aug DEL – 1m turf – 1:35.3 (h) → 1/1
- 25 Jul DEL – 7f turf – 1:23 (h) → 2/2
- 15 Jun PRX – 5f turf – :58.3 (h) → 5/6
- 15 May PRX – 7f turf – 1:23.2 (B) → 1/1
These are excellent, consistent turf works — nearly on par with Hey Again.
Race Performance
Her race record is deceptive:
- She’s been running graded stakes at long distances (1½ miles).
- Her figures (90–99) are competitive with Hey Again.
- She ran third in the G2 Sunkis last out with a 91 fig.
She’s a grinder, not a sprinter, and this cutback to 1 1/16m is ideal.
Verdict
Work times: excellent. Race performance: strong at higher class. Major contender if the race engine works in her favor. As a closer she has suffered for a long time at the hands of a system which seems stacked against her, always arriving too late at the end of her races after being, in some cases inexplicably ridden. A winning chance but a tough one to be confident about.
5. Maiden Jane – Dirt Router Trying Turf
Work Times
Her only turf work:
- 11 Aug KEE – 5f turf – 1:00.1 (h) → 1/1 Good, but one data point isn’t enough.
Most works are dirt-based.
Race Performance
She’s a dirt specialist:
- 8 wins, all on dirt.
- Figures consistently 93–96.
- No turf starts.
She’s talented, but this is a surface experiment.
Verdict
There is limited turf data with this one but she has excellent dirt form. The key here for her is that most of this field are closers, if she can use the wide gate speed push she could well set up an advantage that see’s the AI controlling the others let her go until too late.
Race SUMMARY
The key to this race could be early speed. If the sprinter is set alight she could go all the way, if the wide gate speed push comes into play then the dirt specialist could steal it. The key is how far back the closers get and when the AI decides to chase down the speed.
I think I favor Test here. Team 7 Illusions kept this one after a stable dispersal and that may be key. Also key could be this step up in trip after sprinting strongly, if she overcomes her inexperience she could be at rewarding odds.
