1st Kapa Gold, trained by Drabfantasy

A repeat win in this race as he ran down the second place finisher late in the stretch to win. He sat just off of it down the backside and when they turned for home he set out to catch the pacesetter and he finally mowed him down in the last sixteenth. He ran the distance in 1:09.14 and earned $105.000 for the win.

2nd Torque Converter, trained by Greeko Holdem

Almost ruining the repeat right here as he tried to take the field gate to wire. He didn’t break in front but he went to the lead from the rail and set good fractions. He got leg weary late but gave the winner all he could handle.

3rd Five Ghosts, trained by Drabfantasy

The winner from a few years ago ran a very respectable race in here as he came on for a very good third place finish right behind his stablemate.

4th Great Creep, trained by John Henry

Not a great run from this horse as he tried to chase the pace early on but he was way outfooted and faded quickly to barely hang on for fourth.

Summary

Kapa Gold definitely liked to move back to statebred company here as he got his second win in this race after winning it last year. He ran a very good race and may move back up the class ladder. Congratulations to Kapa Gold and Drabfantasy.
