You could make a case for almost every horse in the field. But Dadonov (Arindel) stands out with his seven-length maiden victory at SAR. Vieux Jeu (Acber Farms) turned in a big performance in his maiden win at WO, too.

Here’s the field:

#1 Fiduciary (Mo Mentum Farm) Broke his maiden last out at WO in a state-bred maiden special weight. Looks like a talented colt. We’ll see if he’s up to the competition.

#2 American Grandeur (TwinTowersRacing) Coming in off a maiden special weight win at LS by two lengths. Likes the distance. Looks to be in the mix.

#3 Laffin Brick Road (Mb Stables) With four starts to his credit this colt is the one of the most experienced in the field. Won a maiden special weight at SAR last start. A win wouldn’t be a surprise.

#4 Sons Of Anarchy (Nakamura Stables) Also broke his maiden last out. Margin of victory was two lengths, but the level wasn’t as impressive as others. Might be a little outclassed.

#5 Dadonov (Arindel) Seven-length victory for this gelding when he broke his maiden at SAR last out. Working very well. Looks like the one to beat.

#6 Cheyenne Lame Foot (Kopites) Still a maiden. Has been competitive in high-level maiden special weight company. Another one working well, but he’ll need a big effort to win here.

#7 Vieux Jeu (Acber Farms) Won by three in off-going last out to break his maiden at WO in off-going. Could get a piece of the purse, and a win wouldn’t be a surprise.

Picks: 5-7-3
