A wide open group of sophomore speedsters will be headed to the gate on Saturday, as we look at the field for the Perryville, a seven panel test over the main KEE oval.  I’m looking at that Harry Clark race at CD for the top two selections, and I’ll give Timer Snake the call to flip the script in this one.  He was second in that race but I think he had a rough trip, and anything better should land him in the winner’s circle.  Wyatt Langmore won that race but got a sweetheart trip, but don’t be mistaken, he could land another big race with a similar run.  There’s a few others that tingle the senses, but let’s run with that duo and see how we do.

It’s the girls shot and we look at the field for the Raven Run (GII) a seven furlong main track sprint for the sophomore fillies.  This looks like a tough group and you could go any number of ways and you can tell that by the differences in our picks.  I took Shadow State as the top pick and she hasn’t won since March, at FG.  Still, she’s been close in a number of big races and I think the distance could start something new for her.  I was torn between Wyldewood and Toppifiant for the second spot, so let’s take ’em both and hope we can land a nice ticket.  Wyldewood has been close in all of her recent races, although slightly cheaper than this, and Toppifiant was close in the Test (GI) and Prioress (GII), both at the spa, so she’s in good form and could blow by them all.

 COZMAN   4 / 7-8       Willie’s Green Card     7 / 1

7
Mo Cuishle    Royalty Stables    Dettori L   124   9/5

One of my favorite race at KEE, we look at the Dowager (GIII), a marathon mile and a half event for the ladies over the lush Lexington lawn and this is an interesting group.  I’m going with Drunk Pinata (love the name) as my top pick… that was a handy win at DMR in the CTT Stakes, and this looks like a good spot for her to keep things going.  Mo Chishle is another that seems to be in fine form right now, although she hasn’t won since March.  She’s been close in a number of stakes and just missed at this distance in the Possibly Perfect Stakes at SA.
