1st Keep Silent, trained by Nakamura Stables
Breaking from the wide gate the dreaded wide gate speed push actually worked in his favour as he was
given a soft lead on a slow pace and was pretty much unbeatable from there. He handled the muddy conditions
well and galloped on strongly and with this his fourth win in a row and his first at graded level you have
to think he has a bright future.

2nd Roger The Australian, trained by Threshold
He was certainly close enough of good enough but tracking just an average pace he was unable to peg back
the all the way leader. It is difficult to know whether the conditions suited but he ran a pretty good
race and must pick up a race like this eventually.

3rd Techfluence, trained by The Sidley Stud
stayed much closer to the leaders thanks to the slow pace but he was a little one paced when asked to quicken.
The muddy ground was always going to be tough to try and make ground up on so this wasnt a bad effort all in all.

4th Brain Power, trained by Mb Stables
Never really in contention after halfway his run in the SUN Derby remains an enigma that has yet tp be repeated.

5th Keen ice
Clearly below par on the muddy ground.

6th Raj Fifa Star
Another that hated the mud, this was an effort that was well below his best.
