                      Three Year Olds Fillies

1st La Terrifiant, trained by Our Athletes

Last years champion two year old filly finally gets her first win as a three year old here in the Monmouth Oaks. She won very impressively in this race and finally looked like she did last year. She really ran a huge race to win by two lengths with some decent fillies in here. She ran in 1:41.90 and earned $60.000.

2nd Ghost Havoc, trained by D J C Racing Stables

This filly returned to form from her last start where she didn’t run too good. She was definitely the second best filly in the race to me and she proved it by running second to the magnificent filly La Terrifiant. I think this is a good level for her and maybe even a step up and she could win a race like this.

3rd Dashing Throughout, trained by Toppedout

Another in the money finish for this filly as she came from last to get up for a third place finish. If she wasn’t pounded on so much she could really be a very nice filly but she has been run sk hard in her short life it’s just a question as to when are her legs going to give out. A good race from her.

4th Dortmund, trained by John Henry

The pacesetter in the earliest part of the race she just ended up getting slightly farther and farther back the farther they went. She only got beat four lengths and she did make a couple bucks so it wasn’t that bad of a performance I didn’t think. If she didn’t run into a super filly next out she might win.

Summary

Well I’m glad to see La Terrifiant finally get back to her two year old form and maybe this will be a good confidence booster for her and she can return to winning grade ones again. I’m sure the end of the year goal is the Breeders Cup Distaff so I’m sure she will be aimed at that. Congratulations to Our Athletes and La Terrifiant.
